We've been looking forward to this day for several weeks now. We had a great summer, but the natives have been getting restless!
It's hard to put into words, but I was happy and sad at the same time. Happy to get back into a routine. But, sad that our baby is starting "big girl preschool" & will be in kindergarten next year. Also, sad to leave my sweet Bitty Baby for the first time.
When I was trying to get a "First day of school" pic of the girls, I think they captured my feelings perfectly :)
Here's our big girl on her first day of pre-K.
I'm still getting used to the fact that Bitty Baby is into everything these days! While we were taking pictures, she decided to take my car keys, crawl out of the house, onto the driveway, and head towards the street. I saw Sister's reaction before I realized Bitty Baby had escaped!
The girls were a little unsure when I dropped them off, but all smiles when I picked them up. Both of them had an awesome time, which just made my day! As we were leaving, Sister was yelling "Bye" to all of her friends in the parking lot. (Of course, Bitty Baby had to join in, too!) I just hurried to the car with my head down. Ha!

Your girls are darling! My kids are 19 and 17; the time goes by quickly. I wish I had a blog back then. I'd have had so much fun with all this. -- michele
