Little Mamas Love Baby Gear!

I'm really excited about this week's Kelly's Korner blog hop - baby gear!

My sweet friend (who is married to my cousin and is herself - a Little Mama! ) collaborated with me on this list. She's my friend with the newest baby - she has a 6 month old little boy who is just adorable!  Thanks J! :)

This is a quick list that we came up with and that works for us!  Every baby is different, though :) We'll start with favorites ...

Strollers:

Graco Mosaic Stroller - moves so easily with one hand, holds a carseat, and is lightweight.

Sit-N-Stand Stroller
If you have a toddler/preschooler and a baby, this stroller is awesome. It's a great way to make sure that everyone is contained, rather than running crazy through a store. We love this stroller!

Feeding:

My Brest Friend nursing pillow
(Crazy name, huh?) I used a boppy for Sister, but my friend let me  borrow this for Bitty Baby and it rocks! It made such a difference, especially in the first few months of
nursing.

Microwave Bottle Sterilizer
This was awesome and fast! It's great for bottles and pump parts. Couldn't have lived without this one.

Snack traps - these are so great for keeping snacks in the cup and not on the floor. Chubby little baby hands can grab snacks, but not spill! Great for the car!

Inch Bug Orbits - these are the cutest name bands to go on bottles and sippy cups. They come four to a pack and stay on through the dishwasher, etc. No more writing names on sippy cups over and over! Yay! Love these!

You can find these here.

For the Car

Car bottle warmer - so convenient for food or milk

Back seat organizer for diapers and supplies - that way, there's always a backup in case there's a diaper shortage.

Playtime

Bumbo seat - this has been great in phases. Great for feeding at about 6 months, especially if we were out without a highchair. But, eventually, they figure how to get out of it. (Bitty Baby has been neutral on the seat until about two months ago. Now she sits in it to look at a book or watch a show. Go figure!)

Play pen or pack-n-play - can't live without this! This is great for travel and also for playtime while Mama takes a shower or cleans the kitchen.

Baby Bottoms

There's nothing worse than a bad diaper rash and they can come on quickly ... sometimes it takes a few tries to find the right cream, but these were a hit with us.

Desitin Overnight Relief

Dr. Smith's Diaper Ointment

Tub Seat - can't live without this

For Mamas

Being a Mama is hard work! I'm still working on finding "the balance!" :) Here are two Christian books that have been so encouraging to me! What I love about these is that I can pick one up when I have time, read a little, and get so much out of it!

Things we'd skip

Electric Bottle/Baby Food Jar Warmer - never could get the temp right. Too hot and not very helpful

Sling - we are both petite and this just wasn't comfortable. Another friend swears by this, but she's taller than we are ... just didn't work and the babies didn't really love it.

Diaper Genie - used this some with Sister, but not at all with Bitty Baby. It's so easy to just throw away each diaper after changing in a small trash can or outside.

Do you have a must have baby item? We're always looking for new ideas to make life easier with little peeps :)
